American Herbalist Guild (AHG) – www.americanherbalistsguild.com  Find your local Northwest chapter by checking in with this national organization.  AHG’s primary goal is to promote a high level of professionalism and education in the study and practice of therapeutic herbalism.  A non-profit, educational organization which represents the goals and voices of herbalists specializing in the medicinal use of plants, AHG has been bringing herbal communities together to share their love of herbs since 1989.

Breitenbush Hot Springs and Conference Retreat Center – www.breitenbush.com  A forested mountain retreat offering year-round workshops, personal retreats and day trips, hosting the wonderful Breitenbush Herbal Conference each September.  Natural, rock-ringed hot spring pools perch above a flowing river surrounded by ancient forests in the central Oregon Cascades. Cedar Mountain Herb School – www.cedarmountainherbs.com  One of the longest-running herbal education schools in the Pacific Northwest, taught by bioregional herbalist, Suzanne Nagler in beautiful Skagit Valley, Cedar Mountain offers “get out into nature” herbal apprenticeships, herbal workshops, herbal intensives and herbal products.
